Entrance Beautification Project
4th Annual Take It Outside Initiative
2026 Entrance Beautification at Truth In Nature
Take It Outside is proud to support Truth in Nature through our 2026 community project: a complete entrance transformation designed to create a stronger sense of welcome, calm, and security from the moment families arrive.
What began as a narrow, low-visibility entrance has been transformed into a functional, intentional, and beautifully finished entryway that now reflects the purpose of the property and the people it serves. The completed project includes custom stone features, new gates and fencing, a finished paver entry, landscape lighting, and thoughtful plantings that bring the entire space together.
But this project was about more than improving curb appeal. It was about creating an outdoor environment that helps reduce anxiety, supports mental wellness, and offers a sense of peace and reassurance for the boys and mothers arriving at Truth in Nature.
At the heart of Take It Outside is the belief that outdoor spaces can do more than look good. They can help people breathe, reflect, reset, and feel cared for. Through the generosity of our sponsors, members, volunteers, and partners, this project became a lasting space that serves people in a meaningful way.
We are grateful to every company and individual who helped bring this project to life and supported our mission to get outside, get involved, and give back.

Take It Outside
Get Outside. Get Involved. Give Back.
Objectives
The objective of this project was to transform the entrance at Truth in Nature into a safer, more welcoming, and more intentional arrival experience for the boys, mothers, staff, and visitors who come onto the property. More than a visual improvement, this project was designed to create a sense of excitement, calm, and security from the moment someone arrives. By reimagining a narrow, low-visibility entryway, Take It Outside aimed to build an outdoor space that reflects the heart of Truth in Nature’s work while supporting our own mission to reduce anxiety and promote mental wellness through thoughtfully designed outdoor environments.
Achievements
With support from our sponsors, members, volunteers, and partners, we completely transformed the entrance at Truth in Nature into a functional, meaningful gateway for the property. The completed project included custom stone features, new gates and fencing, a finished paver entry, landscape lighting, and detailed planting work that brought the entire space together. What was once a limited and understated entrance is now a polished, secure, and welcoming space that sets the tone for everything happening at Truth in Nature. Most importantly, the project created a lasting outdoor environment that serves people in a real way by offering comfort, reassurance, and a stronger sense of place.
Corporate Participation
The 2026 Truth in Nature Entrance Beautification Project was made possible by the support of our corporate partners, sponsors, members, and volunteers — companies and individuals who used their skills, resources, and industry expertise to serve a meaningful purpose.
This project united leaders from across the outdoor services industry around one goal: transforming the entrance at Truth in Nature into a safer, more welcoming, and more intentional arrival experience. What began as a narrow, low-visibility entryway is now a fully built gateway that reflects the care, purpose, and mission of the property.
Our partners contributed far more than materials and funding. They showed up, collaborated, and worked side by side to bring the vision to life. From custom stone features and paver installation to new gates, fencing, landscape lighting, plantings, and finishing details, this project shows what is possible when businesses put their expertise behind a shared mission.
Corporate partners contributed through:
Labor and expertise — On-site crews volunteered their time, equipment, craftsmanship, and technical skill to complete key elements of the project.
Material donations — Industry partners and suppliers provided stone, pavers, fencing, gates, lighting, plant material, and other essential project materials.
Financial support — Sponsors helped fund materials, logistics, and project needs that kept the build moving forward.
Collaboration and leadership — Professionals from multiple companies coordinated resources, shared knowledge, and demonstrated the strength of an industry united in service.
We’re proud to partner with organizations that understand impact goes beyond business. Through this project, they helped create an outdoor space that supports mental wellness, builds a sense of security, and leaves a lasting impression on everyone who arrives at Truth in Nature.

Significance
The Entrance Beautification Project at Truth in Nature represents more than a new gateway. It is a symbol of welcome, safety, and purposeful care.
For the boys, mothers, staff, and visitors who arrive at Truth in Nature, the transformed entrance creates an immediate sense of calm and reassurance. What was once a narrow, low-visibility entry is now a thoughtful and secure arrival experience that reflects the mission of the property and the people it serves.
For Take It Outside, this project captures the heart of the organization’s work: bringing skilled professionals together to create outdoor spaces that reduce anxiety, support mental wellness, and serve the community in a lasting way. Every stone feature, gate, paver, light, and planting was part of a larger purpose: to build an environment that helps people feel welcomed, grounded, and cared for.
Beyond the physical improvements, the project strengthened collaboration across the outdoor services industry, uniting sponsors, members, volunteers, and trade partners around a shared mission. It proved once again that when companies contribute their time, talent, and resources with purpose, the result is more than a completed project. It is a meaningful investment in people.
The impact of this entrance will be felt long after construction is complete. It now stands as a lasting first impression for Truth in Nature and a clear reflection of what Take It Outside exists to do: get outside, get involved, and give back.
